DT HORSES SUN CIRCUIT ROPE FUTURITY
March 4, 5, 6, 2017

 

Futurity Entry fee: $500

AQHA and All Breed Roping Heading or Heeling will run concurrent.
All Breed Entry Fee $250.
Horses entering the futurity who are not entering the AQHA Roping Heading or Heeling class will enter the All Breed Roping Heading or Heeling to be eligible for the Roping Futurity. Horses cannot enter the AQHA Heading/Heeling and All Breed Heading/Heeling. The All Breed Heading/Heeling is for horses that want to show in the DT Horses Roping Futurity but cannot show in the AQHA classes. For example: horses that are not AQHA registered, or exhibitors who are already showing 4 in the AQHA classes but want to show more in Futurity.
No limit on the number of futurity horses an exhibitor may show.

3 judged runs to run concurrent with the AQHA Open Heading and AQHA Open Heeling at the 2017 Arizona Sun Circuit
Judge 1- Bill Enk, Judge 2- Fielding Rogers, Judge 3 -Jimmy Stickler Judge 4- TBA.

Top 10 horses on best two of three runs will advance to the Short go, low score to be discarded. One judge Short go to follow the AQHA roping classes on Monday March 6, 2017

Short go placings to be determined by adding score from Short go score to qualifying score. In the case of a tie fastest time in short go will prevail

One judge in each run. Horse will be judged by AQHA rules plus be given bonus points per the following guidelines:

Under 7.5 seconds- 2 points
7.5-8.4 seconds- 1.5 points
8.5-9.4 seconds- 1 point
9.5-10.5 seconds- .5 point
Over 10.5 seconds- 0 points

-Same exhibitor who showed horse in preliminary rounds must show horse in short go.
-Horses Six years old and under as of January 1, 2017: Registration Certificate or Vet certificate verifying horses age must be presented.
